This alphabetical list of the Native America's Tribe Names began as a story about a flag of seed beads created by a woman named herein. The story evolved to include wisdoms of our elder brothers and sisters in human forms and then, we began to include Native Tribe Names from sources other than the one flag made of seed beads.

This is an Elder with Wisdom, speaking to other men in his presence ...

"We are born free and united brothers, each as much a lord as the other ...
I am the first and the last of my nation ... subject only to the Great Spirit."
- Huron (1693)

'This is important to us Telosians. For when the city of Telos beneath Mt. Shasta was built aeons ago,
it was prepared for 200,000 of our people. When the ancient Lemurian cataclysms started, only 25,000
of our people made it on time inside Mount Shasta and were thus saved from the tidal waves and fires
wrecking havoc upon the surface world, which at that time was our home. Where you live now, was where
we once had lived. So you can understand when we say we know what you are going thru and we truly wish
to help you and hope enough of you will listen. As many of us are immortals, we planted many of us among
you, 144 to be exact, and these will find their way here and build the New Earth from Telos once more. All of
this area was once called Telos, even to the Southwest at Taos, New Mexico. Taos was also a part of Telos , as
was Tule Lake, and Tulum in Merida, Yucatan. Here we also sent many of our Telosians. They-You will unite,
and others will join you from the Stars, as they helped us in ages past. Be of good cheer. For not all will be lost.
Not a hair upon the heads of those who love, will be harmed. You are Blessed, as you are Loving. Know we are

aart ... TARA: The Feminine Divine
Once upon a time, long long ago, when MEN were the only ones considered worthy of Buddha
enlightenment, a REAL historical woman decided to take the bodhisattva vow and was actually
allowed. So she became the first FEMALE BUDDHA and is known  as the GREEN TARA or
WHITE TARA. Look Her up in google and find TONS of books and info about her. In a nutshell:
she is the FEMININE DIVINE with or without the story behind her for she is the source of all stories.
    Blessings, Monk Madhi
'In Indian Hinduism, the Star Goddess Tara is a manifestation of the Queen of Time, Kali. Her symbol,
the star, is seen as a beautiful but perpetually self-combusting thing; so Tara is the absolute,
unquenchable hunger that propels all life. As a Bodhisattava, a Buddha-to-be, she is considered
second only to the great Avalokitesvara, of whom she is said to sometimes be a female aspect.
'Among Buddhists and Jains, and particularly in Tibetan Lamaism, Tara became a symbol of other
hungers as well, in particular the spiritual hunger for release from the purely physical world. As such,
Tara is the goddess of self-mastery and mysticism, invoked under her 108 names on a rosary of
108 beads. The Compassionate Goddess, she appears as a playful adolescent, for Tara sees life
for the game it is; she also appears as a celestial boat woman, ferrying her people across from the
world of delusion to that of knowledge. As the Green Tara she is terrifying, but the White Tara of
meditation stares at us from her three eyes to remind us that if we look through the terror of death
she waits to enlighten us.'  Source : www.ficgoddess.com/sunlightshadow/ : web site no longer in existence.

Calusa - the cultural center of the Calusa Native Americas was in Southwest Florida.
Ravaged by the diseases that the Spanish/European Ponce de Leon brought to the island,
the Calusa were gone by the middle of the 17th century.

CALUSA : my god, your god, their god, can this be true, we as humans have killed our namesake ?  It is here, under USA of the Calusa name, we at Good Works On Earth recommend to you, your purchasing and reading the book by Jon Krakauer, Under the Banner of Heaven.  The insanities and inanities of religion can rise to stellar heights of stupeedoses, and this book proves the point so spelled by false prophets profiting on their own rabid sexual commands upon women, including their own children in ungodly ways.  Religions rile ires, for sure. You will not believe what the Americans who carry their banner of religion have done upon their brethren, and you do not want to share this book with young children unhobbled by religious bigotry and commands of dire doings. Let them learn in peace, never thinking man can be so cruel and perverse and unusual.

Let their minds and hearts know peace ...

Let their body breathe the fresh airs and drink the clear waters ...

Hopi Message from the Hopi Elders

Salutation of Hopi Tribe in America
We Are the Ones We've Been Waiting For ...
We have been telling the people that this is the Eleventh Hour
Now you must go back and tell the people that this is the Hour
And there are things to be considered.
Where are you living?
What are you doing?
What are your relationships?
Are you in the right relation?
Where is your water?
Know your garden.
It is time to speak your truth.
Create your community.
Be good to each other.
And do not look outside yourself for the leader.
This could be a good time!
There is a river flowing now very fast ..
It is so great and swift that there are those who will be afraid ..
They will try to hold onto the shore.
They will feel they are being torn apart and they will suffer greatly.
Know the river has its destination.
The elders say we must let go of the shore, and push off and into the river,
Keep our eyes open, and our head above the water.
See who is in there with you and Celebrate.
At this time in history, we are to take nothing personally.
Least of all ourselves.
For the moment that we do,
Our spiritual growth and journey comes to a halt.
The time of the lone wolf is over, Gather yourselves!
Banish the word struggle from your attitude and your vocabulary.
All that you do now must be done in a sacred manner
And in celebration.
'We are the ones we've been waiting for...'

It implies that in every act, in every thing, and in every instant, the Great Spirit is present, and that one should be continually

Onandaga : also Onondaga : Native American Indian Prophecies :
Source of this quote : https://wratical.org/renewables/hemp.html

"We are able to inform you that ancient grandfathers, the great stands of cedar and redwoods, are in danger of extinction by chainsaws.
The maple, chief of trees, is dying from the top down, as was prophesied by Ganiodaiio, Handsome Lake, in 1799. Great rivers and streams are filled with chemicals and filth, and these great veins of life are being used as sewers.

"We were told the female is sacred and carries the gift of life as our Mother Earth, the family is the center of our life and that we must build our communities with life and respect for one another.

"We were told the Creator loves children the most, and we can tell the state of affairs of the nation by how the children are being treated.

"When we return to Onondaga, we will begin our Great Midwinter ceremonies. We will tie the past year in a bundle and give thanks once again for another year on this earth.
"This was given to us, and we have despoiled and polluted it. If we are to survive, dear friends and colleagues, we must clean it up now or suffer its consequences."
. . . But Lyons also remembered turning to Leon Shenandoah, chief of the Grand Council of the Six Nations Confederacy. "My chief, he doesn't say much, but I asked and he said, 'They're not taking it serious enough. I don't think they realize what's going to happen to them. What's coming.' He would have liked to see less posturing. We have our prophecies.
We know what is coming down the road.'"
-- Onondaga Chief Oren Lyons, on the Global Forum he helped organize on Environment and Development for Survival held in Moscow, January 15 to 19, 1990.

Pawnee : a crowning story of creation :

Inanna - That the earliest gods and mythical figures of the various cultures are celestial in nature is
easily shown.  The Sumerian goddess Inanna, explicitly identified with the planet Venus already at the
dawn of the historical period (c. 3300 BCE), is a case in point and might well serve as an exemplar for
comparative analysis. Virtually every ancient culture will feature a goddess with notable structural
affinities to Inanna, although the identification with Venus is not always preserved.  The Pawnee Indians
of the American central plains, for example, celebrate the wondrous deeds of the primeval goddess,
cu-piritta-ka, identified with Venus.   It was her union with the warrior-god, u-pirikucu, explicitly
identified with the planet Mars, which signaled the crowning event of Creation.

Sometime after we created the Star Art of AMERICANS as a graphic image of the AMERICANS Flag,
we were privileged to see an artwork created by DORA VAN, [See Note below] President of the Affiliated Ute Citizens,
of the Uintah Band Treaty Tribe of the Uintah & Ouray Indian Reservation of Utah.  Her art is composed of 130,910 seed beads,
and the image created is of the American Flag, and in each part of the flag are the names of four hundred and fifty-six tribes
of Native American Indians and these names are shown by the slight variations of color in the red white and blue of the
American flag.  It is a stunning achievement in beauty.

To honor this sacred work of art of the human heart and hands, and the tribes' names, we list them here, and more ... as we find them.  Yes ... all of the names initially listed above and below were on this flag, as shared on her brochure about this exquisite piece of her art.

[Note of 20060906 : The Register Guard newspaper published an article about this AMERICANS flag art in seed beads.
The story goes the bead art was turned down by the Mayor's Art Show in Eugene, Oregon and so it was shown at the
Salon de Refuses, in Eugene. Someone of import noticed it and put the machinery in motion to have it shown under light
in the Smithsonian Institute, which is where it is now on display. The article also states the art was created by a different
artist name of Jenny "Chapoose" Taylor. Along with the names of tribes and states, the piece contains hidden quotes from
Indian leaders and European colonists. "I started making this with anger and frustration and ended up having hope for unity
between all people in the country and our world. I know we can do anything one bead at a time." Jenny Taylor. Stacy Bierma,
owner of Harlequin Beads and Jewelry in Eugene, which is where we were fortunate enough to have seen this art on display,
says "the piece is a remarkable example of original work performed on a grand scale." Jenny Taylor says her next piece she is now creating will be 267,000 seed beads. Per the article, the native Indians did not work with seed beeds until the Europeans brought them
with them and began trading with them, and they quickly became a common form of adornment. ]

"It was our belief that the love of possessions is a weakness to be overcome.
Its appeal is to the material part, and if allowed its way, it will in time disturb one's spiritual balance.
Therefore, children must early learn the beauty of generosity.
They are taught to give what they prize most, that they may taste the happiness of giving."

Yurok - The one law of the Yurok Indians is : Being true to yoursElf.
From this, all else follows in harmony with others.

The Brush Dance is a Yurok Indian healing ritual where being true to yourself
means giving your best to help a person in need. Being true to yourself is the one
            and only Yurok Indian law.

hitopadesa - a proverb of the Hitopadesa :
 'Is this one tribe or a stranger?' is the calculation of the narrow-minded;
but to those of a noble disposition, the world itself is but one family.

and another : 'In time of danger it is proper to be alarmed until
danger be near at hand; but when we perceive that danger is near,
we should oppose it as if we were not afraid.' - The Hitopadesa

There is a greeting, in an old sacred language ... the Word they used is : Wirachocha ..
'Wiracocha' which means : From the God in me to the God in you,
as their greeting one to one, honoring each other as we truly are.

Namaste, we say, is the same awareness spoken in another way.

Ho, we say, and then we go quiet, agreeing truth has been written and spoken .... while we sit in the silent ...

Listening to the universe

This is a poor net sample of the test image, which has no streak through Saturn.
LISTENinSILENT

Here's an interesting observation on the image for 'Listen in Silent'.  The shape of the mountain top
goes from white convex in the sky to dark concave in the reflection in the pool since the reflection angle
does not show the snow covered top of the mountain in the distance.  This is a Ying-Yang,
feminine-masculine type message in the image.  Note too how the planet Saturn disappears
behind the tree in the reflection as well. Saturn is a very masculine planet and it seems
appropriate that he would disappear in the feminine reflection as well.
